Anish Kapoor

This project inspired by Anish Kapoor’s sculptural works, particularly Dismemberment: Site 1 and Spire. The typeface captures the physical tension, spatial distortion, and material ambiguity present in Kapoor’s art, transforming these concepts into letterforms that stretch and contract. The design utilizes the contrast between fluid curves and sharp edges, simplifying the sculptural shapes into serif elements of the letters. Some glyphs incorporate subtle void-like punctures or distorted structures, echoing Kapoor’s fascination with infinity and the interplay between presence and absence.
